
Do your part to spread the word and show that you "Don't Buy The Lie"
The "Don't Buy the Lie" tobacco-use prevention education campaign and billboard contest is sponsored by Kaiser Permanente and the Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services Tobacco Education Program. The contest is in its fourteenth year. Don't Buy the Lie !
Contest Rules:
- Participants must be enrolled in the 7th through 12th grades
- The billboard must be anti-tobacco
- Only original artwork will be accepted
- No photographs or other copywritten materials
- 10 words maximum
- Must draw within the space provided on the application
- Write BOLD and CLEAR
- Use BRIGHT colors
- Do not use cartoons or comic characters
- Do not use themes associated with death
- The entry form must be completely filled out
- Student and parent/guardian need to sign the entry form
- Keep it simple - remember a picture is worth a thousand words
Submission Deadline:
- Entries are due no later than March 7, 2008
